There will be snow eventually -- and kids will need snow boots!
Our Three Rivers School FAN Site Coordinator, Jenn Reuter, has indicated that there is an immediate need for snow boots for our students at Three Rivers.  They need snow boots for both younger children and especially the older middle school students -- who often wear adult sizes. If you have any "gently used" snow boots that you would like to donate to students, please contact Jenn at 541-355-3067.  She has an office at Three Rivers School.

The Three Rivers K-8 Family Access Network (FAN) provides support to our students at Three Rivers and to their families.  They connect these families to essential needs, such as food, shelter, clothing and more, with the goal of keeping children healthy and in school. FAN advocates assist our most needy children, removing barriers and paving the way for a child’s success.

Your generous donations are very much appreciated!

**Very Important**

Thank you to everyone who attended our Clubhouse Grand Opening. It was so nice to see many familiar faces and a few new ones. Neighbors and friends gathered together to tour the facility, enjoy some refreshments and learn of what the Clubhouse has to offer to the community.

The Board presented the community with a background story of what was done to get here today from the feasibility of building, the vote from the community, the entire design process and comparing with neighboring communities, the road blocks along the way, to the completion of construction.

During the months of July through September, owners offered suggestions to name the clubhouse, and those names were voted on by the Board and the Clubhouse Committee members. The official name of the Clubhouse is The Meadow House. Thank you to the winners, Ron and Joyce Hunt, for their suggestion. Their names and and The Meadow House will be engraved on a brick and placed in the front porch of the clubhouse with the other personalized bricks.

We also held a raffle drawing for 3 donated prizes. Those who purchased bricks were entered into the raffle, one ticket per brick. Congratulations to the winners:

3rd place - a companion flight add-on ticket for Alaska Airlines
David and Lisa Brooks

2nd place - a round of golf for 4 at Caldera
Tim and Judy Baines

1st place - a week stay at Lake Tahoe
Bill and Sandy Stevens

Also, thank you again to the many people who dedicated their time, energy and resources for the completion of our Clubhouse. You are appreciated!

River Meadows Clubhouse Bricks
This past summer, we launched a campaign to raise funds to furnish our new building. The entrance of the Clubhouse will be paved with “legacy” bricks. These bricks were available in two sizes, 4”x8” and 8”x8”, inscribed with your unique message. Some bricks displayed a name to commemorate family, friends, a pet, a memorial for a friend or loved one, a celebration of a special event, and promoted a business. Other bricks contained a favorite phrase. We will be hosting another brick fundraiser for those who may have missed it sometime next spring. Contact the office for more information.

Here is a sample of what the bricks will look like.
